So I am in India now... I know this is no excuse for not writing but the circumstances I came and then the jet lag and spending time with near n dear ones left no time for blogging.. Will try and be more efficient from now on..:) So how are you people doing?? Things have been little crazy here... People say Hi to "Google". Don't go by her looks. When they say looks can be deceiving  its true.This gurl is making my already crazy life more crazy. I don't know how to match her enthusiasm for everything..esp my slippers..:D..will definitely devote a post for her antics. There's an equally crazy guy out there at my in-laws place. Nothing less than Google. Will post his pics soon as I get to click him :)..soon I promise... My journey to India too has been a lil crazy with the dash of friendly custom guys, extra baggage and a long long flight. This is what I saw for 9 hours of my flight. I am pretty sure the aircraft was from the time of Wright Brothers..:P

So fall is officially here..I can see the leaves turning yellow/red... I'll sure miss midwest's beautiful fall colors... Door County ~ Fall 2010 I just love fall...:) The crisp breeze, the nip in air the evr changing colors. Transformation is in the air.. So to celebrate this beautiful transformation i thought of baking Choco-Lava cake.The kinda you get in Domino's..I love em... Nothing beat the chill in air better than hot chocolate. Isn't it?? So here's what I made.. All the melted chocolate.. well just melted away..:D besides the melted chocolate, even the cake turn out to be horrible..rubber like... This beats my Milmaid cake by a league..n that was brick like, just terrible.. I ate even this terrible, terrible cake.. but for next tym I am going to ring Domino's...:D

India seems to be the flavor of the season..looks like everyone is adding the desi tadka to their stuff.. First the Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2013 collection and then Marchesa's... Jean Paul Gaultier Spring 2013 Have you seen Marchesa's Spring 2013 collection...its sooo drool worthy... Is there richer source of inspiration than India..the colors,the rich fabrics, the gorgeous embroidery..the collection was incredibly beautiful, chic n and quite wearable.. of course some of the pieces were quite literal but then..:D..I am intrigued on who, when and how it would be translated on editorials and red carpet...would be fun to watch.. So what do u have to say?? liked it?? lemme know.. Even the Vera Wang Spring 2013 collection was inspired from India...This was more restrained than the opulent Marchesa colection..more than embellishments it took inspiration from the jewel toned colors and dazzling textures..and was more aptly named as "Out of India&

Happy Monday people!!! Don't say Whats so happy about Monday..:D.. Well u can say that..I say that every Monday.. Mondays are lazy, sleepy, cranky...n what not..:D I always have trouble getting up on Mondays... So how did ur weekend go?? Mine went eating..Gluttony is my sin..for this weekend I would say.. So I have this pink hairclip from Foreever21.. I like wearing it.. n the fact I wore it yesterday with my french braided hair got me thinking of getting few more of these.. I made a rosette from my t-shirt some time back...So I thought why not..n made myself a hair clip from a scrap of dupoini silk fabric I had. It has a little shine to it.Looks classy...n it was soo simple to make it.. Things you need :- 1) Fabric Scrap 2) Glue 3) Hairclip(you can use snap clips or alligator clips). I had a snap clip with me..I lost its pair..So I used it for my rosette hairclip. You can get some from dollar stores too. I Forgot to take snap while starting..:) so maybe wil

A great start to great weekend.. Had awesome dinner..had pav-bhaji..:D Watched a good movie..Barfi...If you haven't watched..do go n watch...u'll love it..I did..:) Sweet movie...You'll leave the theater feeling giddy about love, about life..:D Priyanka n Ranbir acted well..too well I would say... I was writing today's post when I saw a video on FB posted by a friend..Its soo cute..made my eyes all watery..have a look.. you'll like it too... Now that was yesterday..been writing this post for a while now..:D So how have u been ??? So what do you do when the NFL season starts and all you have on TV is Football, more football and a little Tennis thrown in between..??? Well!!!..you paint nails..simple..:) I love wearing nailpaints..I change it quite often..Hate chipped nailcolors..which make me change it more frequently..:D..Not big on fancy nailarts..the phool-patti designs are simply not for..:P..For me nailart means painted tips, maybe some stripes if m being adventurous..You get it..right?? The Famous Tunnel View ~ You can see El Capitan on left, Cloud's Rest in center,Half-dome in center right and Cathedral Rocks on right  Half Dome - You can see the faint line going up the dome, that's where the cables are. Would Like to go there sometime.Its in my bucket list now.If you look closely, you can see people on top of Half-Dome Finding the way out.
