 This was a quick DIY!!! I wanted gold shoes to go with my new year outfit.. I didn't had any, so I made one from a old pair of white sandals...    After!!!! Look what a lil glue and gold glitter can do :P

Today I was reading a blog, n came to know that one of the fellow blogger lost her battle to Cancer. Her name was Abigail Smith, better known in blogging world as "Abby" or "Amazing Abby". She was just 24 when she left this world. A small life, but she lived it well. I had been following her work for her while, then I lost her An amazing photographer, n even more amazing human being. She inspired many throughout her battle with cancer. Words fail to describe her, her struggle, her faith, and the love she shared with the people around her. Seattlites love complaining about weather...:P After all its rains 8-9 months on a year...You can blame us.... But trust me Seattle is one of the most beautiful ciites.. We had a amazing summer ~ bright n beautiful... Now fall is here n its equally beautiful...its still the early stage n we dont even get much fall colors but still is beautiful. I do miss the fall colors of mid-west but Seattle makes up of it with its stunning sceanry. I have wanted to color my hair red for a long tym now... My hubby was looking into my wishlist.. I have it on every possible online shop... Anyways I was on lookout for a good swimsuit.. n I love those vintage looking retro swimsuits in trend now...remember the pinup models of hollywood..old hollywood glam.. I had enrolled for swim classes...more about them afterwards.. So I wanted a good, modest swimsuit... I was bored of my old one...n which gurl doesn't want new clothes in her closet.. So hence I started my quest for new swimsuit.. These were the looks I was going for... 2013 is the year for vintage inspired 1960's suits..in LOVE... Tell me ur fav amongst these...I esp love the 4th one n 2nd one too...n eneded up buying a swimsuit similar to it..:) n if get swimsuit u need accessories to go with it...;)..big floppy hats, big sunglasses n a cute beach bag...ummmn... We started juicing some tym back.... Well we haven't got to doing the juice fast yet... Just a glass of juice in morning... n instead of juice in morning I give my hubby juice in a bottle to chug all day long...:) Can't say if its helping..but its sure does feel good...I definitely have lost some water weight... All the puffiness from face has gone...so its working...Go green..:P... Thats my Beginner's Green juice. After seeing this my broi reacted "if this is beginner I don't' even wanna see the rest.."..:P...That guy I tell u... Have u tried juicing..tell me what have u tried...

We have around 5 set of parents visiting our friends... So we all went to Green Lake for an outing after Seattle Food Bite. Overall it was a fun day...with lotsa eating and bakar(chat in hindi) We saw a beautiful sunset...see that building glowing..amazing naa?? Now we are waiting when our parents will come..:(

If you are regular at Ikea , you must have seen this duvet cover. So I made a dress outs this... I hadn't intended to wear it outside as this was a trial dress but it turned out to be a beautiful piece.. so I wore it to our outing.. Wanted to pose and get a good picture..;)...but forgot  every time I wore this.. So make use of this only.. This dress was made from Simplicity pattern 5953

Long weekend is coming...:) And our friends are coming to visit Seattle... And our guest room is..well..its our store room..:P This is how it looked after cleanup..clean but still bland and boring...as boring as rentals look. So I thought to spice up the room up... But, in a rental home there's only few things you can do...Paint..well you have to paint it again when leaving..thats too much work... I love polka dots be it on dress or on walls.. Ans as I can't paint on my walls I decided to improvise..and improvise I did.. These were my tools ~ painter's tape, fabric and scissor..easy peasy... I made little circles from the fabric and pasted the painters tape on the back.. and just pasted the circles on wall..  And the best part is I can take them off whenever I want and they won't even leave mark :)... This is a renter's delight...  So, what do you think?? Like it?? Lemme know...

Its been a while since I last wrote... I have been busy...busy for nothing...:) Well I wanted to talk about our small hike in Grand Canyon to Ooh- Aah Point. But was waiting to get the original copies of the photographs(remember we forgot our camera)..:P We must have met our frens a hundred time but just forget to get the snaps... So I am going ahead with our Picasa download..:D These snaps were clicked by our frens Deepak n Amruta. They just celebrated 6 month anniversary of their marriage...:)... If you have been to Grand Canyon, you know that words fail to describe and pictures don't do justice. And Ooh-Aah point just consolidates the fact. Ooh-Aah Point is on the south Kaibab Trail. South Kaibab Trail is considered one of the most beautiful trail on the South Rim of Grand Canyon. Its about 7.5 miles to Bright Angel Campground, which is at bottom of canyon. If you think that its only 7 miles just keep the fact in mind that there is around 5000 ft elevation...:P For
