Thank u all for the wishes for us n baby..:)... Both me n my hubby like the idea of having chalkboard in house. To do list, random messages/ thoughts there is so much you can do on a chalkboard... So we thought about getting one for our home too...but the ones we liked were too pricey for my taste n the ones which were coming in our budget were kinda sucked..:P.. We decided to make one ourselves... As we rent a apartment we didnt wanted something big, space beign so premium..:D.. We got a old painting from Goodwill..that place is my disneyland I tell u...;)... We loved the clean lines n thickness of the frame. I double checked about the painter n painting on Google....I was hoping maybe we would end up with a gem of a painting worth millions..in my dreams...:P..too much of Antique Roadshow I guess.. Then began the process of cleaning and sanding... n taping n painting n taping again.. Sand it well or else u'll end up with blotchy paint..:P...
