Of Roses n Rosettes..!!!

Happy Monday people!!!
Don't say Whats so happy about Monday..:D..
Well u can say that..I say that every Monday..
Mondays are lazy, sleepy, cranky...n what not..:D
I always have trouble getting up on Mondays...
So how did ur weekend go??
Mine went eating..Gluttony is my sin..for this weekend I would say..

So I have this pink hairclip from Foreever21..

I like wearing it.. n the fact I wore it yesterday with my french braided hair got me thinking of getting few more of these..
I made a rosette from my t-shirt some time back...So I thought why not..n made myself a hair clip from a scrap of dupoini silk fabric I had. It has a little shine to it.Looks classy...n it was soo simple to make it..

Things you need :-
1) Fabric Scrap
2) Glue
3) Hairclip(you can use snap clips or alligator clips). I had a snap clip with me..I lost its pair..So I used it for my rosette hairclip. You can get some from dollar stores too.

I Forgot to take snap while starting..:)
so maybe will post the tutorial when the next tyme I make it. Which I think will be doing verry soon..m verry much taken in by rosettes..:)
Here's my final hairclip..
You can see my hair clip peeking from beneath the rosette.
Added a few stones too.Made it a little dresy..
Let me how u like it...
This was a quick think..took me minutes..n had fun while making it..
Will try n post a picture of wearing it..:)..will hv to ask hubby for it..:D
Thank you for reading..have a wonderful week ahaead..
I am already looking forward for next weekend..:)

So, its been a week...Where have I been?? been here only, just down n out...First my stomach( gluttony is my sin ) n then my wrist (Tennis !!!).. Will be out for 2 days..Going for camping...My first..:)..all set for that.. So here's thing I did this week..nothing special... My fedora was lil worn out and got dirty..So I washed it..verry natural thing to do I say..only to realize it later that its made of paper..:D...I started thinking of all the paper mache things i could make...:D..Well it survived..was back to its white glory..but, the sun, soap and water took its toll on the fabric strip it had. So I made a new one for it.. My fedora with old, Blue Fabric ribbon After, with bright fuchsia Fabric trim  A little outa focus but u get that, right?? Anyways m out for weekend, see ya next week.. have fun...

My Little Pony - Day spent at Farrel McWhirter Farm

All those who know our kiddo, knows how crazy he's about HORSES!!! So in spirit of fueling his imagination I enrolled him in My Little Pony Class held by Redmond  Parks and Recreation. The class was held at Farrel McWhirter Farm. You can enroll for the class through their website  http://www.redmond.gov/ParksRecreation  and  http://www.redmond.gov/ParksRecreation/farrel-mcwhirter_farm_park_programs/ Our class was scheduled for 9.30 am and we got there much earlier. It helped the Cowboy to get settled in and check out the animals.  He came all dressed up in a cowboy hat(from his halloween costume). There were cows, pigs, bunnies, sheep, chickens n new little goat babies :)...                                                          This was our pony....aaaa..I forgot her name....

My Louboutins!!!

So what do you do when the NFL season starts and all you have on TV is Football, more football and a little Tennis thrown in between..??? Well!!!..you paint nails..simple..:) I love wearing nailpaints..I change it quite often..Hate chipped nailcolors..which make me change it more frequently..:D..Not big on fancy nailarts..the phool-patti designs are simply not for..:P..For me nailart means painted tips, maybe some stripes if m being adventurous..You get it..right?? So when I saw Adele(I soo dig her red lips) wearing a shimmery silver nailpaint with crimson painted on back of nails,I was a gonner. She matched the sparkles of her shoes with her nailpaint, and the back of nailpaint matched the signature Louboutin sole..I think the idea is fun.. Well that was the Grammy Night many ages ago... I totally forgot about that until I was reading about the Louboutin nails.."Painting the back of nails in red" just like the shoes.Well now I don't have that k...
