Its been a while since I last wrote... I have been busy...busy for nothing...:) Well I wanted to talk about our small hike in Grand Canyon to Ooh- Aah Point. But was waiting to get the original copies of the photographs(remember we forgot our camera)..:P We must have met our frens a hundred time but just forget to get the snaps... So I am going ahead with our Picasa download..:D These snaps were clicked by our frens Deepak n Amruta. They just celebrated 6 month anniversary of their marriage...:)... If you have been to Grand Canyon, you know that words fail to describe and pictures don't do justice. And Ooh-Aah point just consolidates the fact. Ooh-Aah Point is on the south Kaibab Trail. South Kaibab Trail is considered one of the most beautiful trail on the South Rim of Grand Canyon. Its about 7.5 miles to Bright Angel Campground, which is at bottom of canyon. If you think that its only 7 miles just keep the fact in mind that there is around 5000 ft elevation...:P For...

The weather in Seattle has been awesomely good..:) So we took advantage of that n planned a barbecue. We went to Lake Tapps for a picnic cum barbecue. It was a beautiful day to be outside... If you have few hours to spare, Lake Tapps is the place to be... Unlike the popular Green Lake this place is quiet n not so crowded. N if the weather gods are kind you'll see the magnificent view of Mt. Rainier. The sun shone in all its glory and it was beautiful. n we ate, n ate n ate...I dont think we ever stopped munching...:P  This little guy was fun to watch...:)  By the time we were ready to leave, clouds had covered Rainier. i'll leave you on that beautiful sight. So my dearest hubby gifted me a new phone..a Samsung Galaxy S4.. It was quite a surprise..a big one..a 5.3 inch big one....:) I was so sick of my old phone ~ was slow, the battery died every 5 hours, hanged up between calls n what not..:P..So when I got this one I was in awe for a while. I was really afraid to use it..but was forced to use it this May long weekend... We, rather I forgot our camera in the car and realized it only after reaching airport..:P I know what you are thinking..:P Its unsettling if you dont have a Camera in your hand and you are visiting beautiful places. This time its was Grand Canyon - Zion - Death Valley..with Las Vegas thrown in for good measures..:) Here my 13 mp camera came in handy..:P...I took some time to get hang of it but it was worth it..So here are the few snaps taken from my Samsung Galaxy S4...Lemme know how u find the captures...  We found these @ Phoenix Airport. Its mother's day tomorrow. I miss my Maa...:(..Wish was there with her... As I grew up she became more of a friend than mum. Can talk anything with her. Its fun shopping with her. She's one amazing lady ~ I have yet to meet someone like her. She's strong willed, courageous , practical, loving and more..Wish I was half good as her..I do have her smile though..:) How can I forget my mum-in law. She's one sweet lady ~ sweet, loving and caring..She is a  total perfectionist and expect everyone to be..we are still at early stage of our relationship but we are getting there...:) Both of them belong to two different school of parenting but have bought their children well. Wish both of them lotsa love and happiness. Love you both...

Heyi you all... How have u been??? I had a tiring weekend..fun but tiring..cycling, hiking, walking, gyming...now my muscles are sore to core.I now have muscles which I didn't knew existed n they hurt..badly..:P The weather have been gorgeous for past few days n Seattleites made best of it... We went to Teneriffe Falls formerly known as Kamikaze Falls. Its a  6 miles round trip moderate hike. It would have been an easy hike if not for the new unfinished part of hike at the end. Its as rocky as it can be :) The first 2 miles of hike is well paved and is an easy walk. First Leg of HIke (Pic courtesy Dhaval Shah) Its the second leg of hike the last 1 mile which is tough. It says 1 mile from the intersection marked "Teneriffe Falls" but it sure feels more..;).. Bring along your hiking boots for this last leg or you'll sure feel each n every rock/stone on way..:)  The views of valley below are beaut...

We went cycling yesterday... The weather have been gorgeous...n we went cycling..:) Our beauties... I have been working on few things. I'll give u a peek... So this is something I have been working for past few months... Well for past few days I haven't even touched it...Thinking of finishing it this week.. Wait a min this week is almost over..so..maybe next week...:) What am I doing with this..you got to see this once this is done..it looks great in my head..:D for now I am still getting hang of painter's tape... The gorgeous lace...what should I do with it?...hmnn...  I have an idea..;) a vintage Simplicity pattern Should I tell you that I am in love with vintage dresses..I absolutely adore the fashion of 50's n 60's..This pattern is from 1965...impressed??...:)...lets see if I can do any justice to it with my sewing skills..:P... Before I start I need a bumble bee glares...Retro chic..:)..n a glass of lemonade...
